Basic knowledge of 3D four-wheel aligner

Novices will find in the 3D four-wheel aligner test that the test data of various vehicles are far from the standard data, and they often don't know where to start when debugging. In particular,it is pointed out here that the standard is for new cars, and the standard is only for reference data for old cars. For example, when adjusting the front beam, for old cars with independent suspension of the front wheels, the front beam value of the front-wheel drive vehicle can only be adjusted to be less than the standard, and the front beam value of the rear-wheel drive vehicle can only be adjusted to be greater than the standard.Since there is generally no turntable for rear wheel debugging, the elastic effect should be considered when debugging the front beam of the rear wheel.
(1)Novices will find in the 3D four-wheel aligner test that the test data of various vehicles are far from the standard data, and they often don't know where to start when debugging.
(2)The front wheels of most front-wheel drive vehicles are micro-front beam, because the driving force causes the front wheels to tend to the positive front beam.Generally, the heavier the body or the greater the engine power, the smaller the front wheel beam value. The front wheel front beam of most rear-wheel drive cars is slightly positive, because the driving force is often the front wheel is the negative front beam.
(3)The positive camber angle of the left front wheel can be adjusted to be slightly greater than the camber angle of the right front wheel to compensate for the tendency to turn right due to the road arch. Many front-wheel drive vehicles have a smaller negative rear wheel camber to improve steering stability.
(4)The left front wheel is facing the kingpin and the rear inclination angle can be adjusted to be less than that of the right wheel to compensate for the impact of the road arch.
(5)In a front-wheel drive vehicle, the driving force causes the rear wheel spindle to be subjected to a backward force. Therefore, these rear wheels are designed to have a zero front beam or a very small front beam according to the situation of the vehicle itself. The correct setting of the front beam of the rear wheel is of great significance to ensure the normal life of the wheel.
(6)The front beam value can be adjusted with reference to the actual camber angle value unchanged during positioning. When the camber angle value is large, the front beam angle value is also large, and the camber angle value is small when the front beam angle value is small.
